Long — 180 words

Roi Benitez is a digital anthropologist working at the intersection of human behavior, technology, and organizational transformation. For over fifteen years she has led knowledge, learning, and innovation portfolios across the public, multilateral, and technology sectors, managing portfolios of USD 5M+ and teams of 70+ across Latin America and the United States.

As Director of Capacity Building for Innovation in Argentina's national government, she created and led a public-policy design academy that reached 65,000 civil servants, redesigned 100 public policies, and was recognized by Apolitical as the second-best government academy in the world, alongside the UK's GDS. She has run ethnographic research in contexts as varied as oil-field risk culture, factory reskilling across 200+ plants, and AI adoption inside organizations.

Her research follows two lines: institutional free zones — how organizations create spaces to break their own rules, the subject of her doctoral thesis in Systemic Innovation — and AI anthropology, which studies how knowledge is produced, negotiated, and attributed when people work alongside agentic AI.

She teaches at the postgraduate level at Universidad de San Andrés, and is the founder of Skills4Future.
